It doesn’t matter how much an expert trainer, or a coach may know, if they don’t understand your present situation and circumstances, they will not know how to best guide you from where you are to where you want to be.
This takes a discovery period and it’s why, I always ask my clients to book a consultation session to begin with. Truth is, I have little idea of what going on for you unless I discover what’s going on.
And I’m not just talking about, “I’ve gained some weight, I want to eat better and exercise more, or I’m tired” I need to know what’s going on in your life! Share the plot of what happening or not happening in your life right now.
What’s got you stressed, running nonstop, unhappy, unable to sleep peacefully or killing your peace of mind?
Is it a life structure issue, work relationship issues? A financial issue? Lack of clarity on where you going and a sheer lack of inspiration for the future?
I need to know this so that we both know what’s in play.
This is important for two reasons:
- As you go through Performance Lifestyle training, you must understand your hidden challenges, so you know what’s distracting and holding you back, and know what you need to resolve in your life.
- As a coach, I can only help you apply what you learn in the game of your life, but I need to know the current rules, boundaries, supports you have or don’t have in your life and the current “score” so to speak so that I have real data to work on.This way we can devise a better life strategy, and now make sure your performance lifestyle has you moving forward in a position of strength.
